Equality of Man and Woman in Islam

Abstract:

The research deals with the aspects in which Islam has honored the woman, the first of which being the equality of man and woman in the assignment letter in terms of generality in Sharia and the generality of the prophetic message. Then the second aspect showed the equality of man and woman in the field of education and work through two elements: the first, clarifying the equality of man and woman seeking education and the second, clarifying the equality of man and woman in the spreading of education. In the third aspect, the research talks about the equality of man and woman on the right of work. Then, the fourth aspect deals with the clarification of the equality of man and woman in the financial rights. In the fifth aspect: the equality of man and woman in the field of marriage. Then, the sixth aspect was deals with the equality in penalties throughout four examples: the equality in adultery penalty, slander penalty, retribution penalty and alcohol – drinking. Finally, the seventh aspect deals with the equality of man and woman in the political rights throughout four elements: the messenger allegiance, the role of woman in the events of migration and the principle of Shura and finally granting security to non- Muslims.
