Abstract:
The Constitutional Judiciary Research Institute at the University of Aix-Marseille in France organizes, in the second week of September each year, an international conference on one of the comparative constitutional law topics. The Institute organizes a training course for graduate students in the two days preceding the conference on one of the topics of constitutional law. The theme of the session preceding this year’s conference was “Constitutional Justice and Democratic Transformation”, which was held from 4 to 7 September 2017.
The theme of the conference this year was: “The Role of the Constitutional Court in the Interpretation of Constitutional and Legal Rules”. It was held on 8 and 9 September 2017. Although this topic is a traditional issue in the field of constitutional justice, the reports presented to the conference and the discussions that took place included modern developments and applications on this subject, while comparing the directions of the constitutional judiciary in different countries.
