It has been two years since the first issue of KILAW Journal. Today, the Journal is issuing its eighth edition which deepens its capability towards becoming one of the leading academic legal landmarks in the Arab world. It enhances and elevates legal thought and education via publishing specialized studies and research papers. Since its first issue wherein contributions came from KILAW faculty members, the KILAW Journal has become a unique academic journal for researchers from Arab and international universities. When reviewing the previous issues of the KILAW Journal, it is crystal clear that the Journal has two synchronized issues in both Arabic and English, which adds a global domain to the Journal in addition to its Arabic domain. This issue features six research papers. Among the papers are four in Arabic, and they are as follows: 1. A study about nonprofitable corporations presented by Dr. Khalil Victor. 2. A study presented by Dr. Khalid AlMutairi about the Hadith “The Hadith No Penalty Based on Suspicions : a doctrinal study comparing the law”. 3. Dr. Nofel AlSafo presents a research paper entitled “Mental Retardation and its Impact on Criminal Responsibility”. 4. Finally, in the field of public law, Dr. Bashayer AlDeekan presents a paper “General Unwritten Legal Principles as a Source of Administrative Law: A Comparative Study”.
