Legal System for Scientific Research in Outer Space

Abstract:
The study aims to clarify the legal basis for scientific research in outer space, and to study the technical and legal aspects of workers, means and equipment for scientific research in outer space. It relies on the descriptive and analytical approach to study the problem of the adequacy of the legal system for scientific research in outer space, through what was decided by treaties and agreements related to outer space, and similar areas.
The study reached several results, the most important of which are: The freedom to conduct scientific research in outer space is restricted by the principle of peaceful use, and it must be for peaceful purposes and for the benefit of all humanity. Conducting any military experiments is prohibited, with the permissibility of using military assets and equipment in scientific research for peaceful purposes.
The study also presented a set of recommendations, which the researcher believes are necessary to sustain space activity and benefit all peoples.
