The most demanding objective of academic institutions is society-related research and studies. The purpose of such research is to find out appropriate solutions, cope with the most up-to-date research, develop national legislations, or shed light on deficiencies in current national and international laws.
To achieve such objective, it is necessary to organize international specialist symposiums and conferences. Hence, Kuwait International Law School held the first legal conference titled “Current Legal Issues”, between 15th and 16th December, 2013. A group of international and Arab legal experts and researchers participated in this conference, as they covered the four main domains of the conference, which are as follows:
First: Constitutional Reforms in the Arab World.
Second: Transitional Justice and Challenges in the Arab World.
Third: Legal Changes in the Arab World from International Law Perspective.
