KILAW’s Journal sixth edition includes seven articles related to issues of national and international law.
The volume starts with an article entitled “ Arab Reservations on the (CEDAW) Convention Limit the Rights of Women’s Equality in Familial Relationships ” , which is a comparative and analytical study of Arab laws related to personal status and family law. The study traces the recent developments in activating and enforcing the principle of equality between man and woman with family ties. The article clearly shows the Arab reservations’ on the Convention to Eliminate All Forms of Discrimination Against Women negative impact.
This volume also includes a study of “ The Legal Principles for Corporate Governance According to Law No. 25 of the Year 2012 Related to Kuwaiti Companies Law ” This article focuses on defining corporate governance and highlighting its importance and role in promoting companies. It also assesses the extent to which the Kuwaiti Companies’ Law embraces corporate governance principles and applies their developments. Also among the important topics addressed in this volume is “ Legal Regulation of the Capacity in the Operations of Transfer and Organ Transplant and Its Impact in Determining the Nature of the Medical Liability An Analytical Critical Study ”.
